Compliment on my eyelashes

Hi girls,

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while but I get like that - on again, off again.

At any rate, I thought it was so funny today. At work, a woman said, "I have to say, you have the most beautiful eyelashes. So many women would kill for eyelashes like yours."

I'd never been told that before. In fact, when I started wearing mascara now and then a while ago, I thought they were awful because they're too curly.

Well, when she told me that, I had to resist saying, "And I'm not even wearing mascara!", heh.

I have very long and thick lashes naturally, I have heard that all of my life.

I have also been told that girls would kill to have lashes as long as mine. I've had them all my life. They do curl nicely.

I've got long ones too, I used to complain when they'd rub against the lenses in my glasses, but then I'd hear "you know, most women would kill for that problem". For some reason that usually made me feel better. :rolleyes:

Yup, I've been told I've got girly lashes (used to bump against glasses too).

I'll have to remember the "not wearing mascara" line, I'm sure it get a laugh -- and I'll have the last laugh... ;)

My brother and son both have gorgeous lashes; but, alas, this girl has to get hers from a brush :o **big sigh** :D
