When I worked in the UK Border Agency I told a work friend about my cross dressing. He took the news quite well. I asked him if he would like to meet Maria and to my amazement he said yes. We arranged to meet at a restaurant in London for lunch. He was a perfect gentleman and treated me like a lady. He held the door for me, pulled back my chair and genuinely treated me as a gentleman would treat a lady he was taking to lunch. He even remembered to call me Maria. It was wonderful. A day I will remember for the rest of my life.
Wonder if he would have proposed if he was not happily married? I might have said yes but on the understanding I could never have children. LOL

That seems to be true here, and for the GG's as well, from what they post on other forums, and Dear Abby too.

What a lovely story, Maria. If I had that happen to me, I would still be remembering that day even in my grave.
I have no idea what my fiancee might think about it though...;)
