Well, it is Monday morning and I am in Oregon visiting with my daughter. I flew out here last Thursday and have been living as a woman full time ever since I left my house. It has been a little while since I last flew en femme, and the feelings are just as wonderful and just as rewarding as I remembered.

We have been running just about non stop since my arrival and I have totally loved every moment of it. Two of the highlights have been going to the outlets and shopping with my daughter, and getting all dressed up and going out Saturday evening. My daughter has the most wonderful taste in style and thanks to her, my wardrobe is now completed. This means that when I move into my new condo and begin my RLE, I can do it without worrying about clothing. I even found a truly exciting deal on a matching purse and pocketbook from Kevin Cole, it is so beautiful and stylish. Now all I have to do is buy a new suitcase to carry all of my new clothing home in.... LOL..

The other highlight was Saturday evening when we both got all dressed up to the nines and went out to a show in downtown Portland and then for dinner. The show was a little bit disappointing but the dinner and wine made up for it. And to make it even better, we finished off with some ice cream that was totally out of this world. It is just such a lovely feeling and experience to walk down the street in a dress and heels and enjoy the freedom of being just another woman. Oh, and the occasional looks you get doesn't hurt either....

Today my daughter went back to work and I get to finish painting her bathroom. I began this task last Friday and found it challenging to keep myself from smearing the paint each time my boobs got in the way, gotta love it....... I estimate about 2 hours of work left to do, and then I am going for a walk and treat myself to a nice lunch, with a glass of wine of course.

The entire week prior to my traveling out here, my soon to be X was here for her visit with my daughter. She arrived home the day prior to my leaving which allowed me to live totally enfemme for just shy of 2 weeks. What an experience this has been and what a lead in to my beginning to live full time when my condo is completed in May.

I really have to get on with the painting so this will have to end my story. All that is left to say is that I am one very lucky lady to have such a wonderful, understanding and accepting daughter and to have identified the mistake in my gender role, a mistake which will happily be totally corrected over the next 18 months.

What a wonderful story, and an equally wonderful daughter. With her support there is nothing you can't do with your attitude.

Welcome to the Northwest Nicole.

Portland is a friendly town and if you like books check out Powells Book store in downtown Portland. Largest bookstore on the west coast and they carry used as well as new books.

Good luck with the painting. I usually end up with more on me than on the wallls.

That is great Nicole! You are giving me ideas about my daughter, and I hope it doesn't spell trouble. LOL She is onboard with me being TG, and I don't know if she would be receptive to seeing me in and as my preferred gender.

Thank you ladies for all of your kind words. Yes, my daughter is one in a million, well, at least to me she is. She had to return to work today which left me alone for the day. So, after I finished painting her bathroom I decided to take a walk, go out for lunch and take in a movie. Tonight, after she returns home from work, we will be cooking dinner together, dining with a nice bottle of wine and then relaxing and watching a movie together.

Thank you Laurie, it is truly wonderful to have a mature, open minded individual as your daughter. It sought of makes me feel that I did something right while raising her.

You are so right Kelly, and thank you so much for the warm welcome. Portland is truly a warm and friendly city. I have spent many happy hours just wondering its streets and always find something interesting to bring home with me. This is especially true when i visit Powell Books, WOW, what an experience that store is. Even now that they have relocated their second store to its current smaller locating, I simply can't believe the selection they have.

The only way to find out is to ask Teresa. That's what I did once I came out to my family and my daughter was the first one to ask when she was going to meet me. On my last visit my daughter asked me "to bring Nicole with me" and we spent only one day together, but that was the beginning of much much more. This time she asked me to only bring Nicole and that it might be nice to just be 2 girls for the entire visit. It all started for me when I came out to her and asked if she could accept me as Nicole. Her reply to me was a very simple yet resounding YES...
