Well, it is Monday morning and I am in Oregon visiting with my daughter. I flew out here last Thursday and have been living as a woman full time ever since I left my house. It has been a little while since I last flew en femme, and the feelings are just as wonderful and just as rewarding as I remembered.
We have been running just about non stop since my arrival and I have totally loved every moment of it. Two of the highlights have been going to the outlets and shopping with my daughter, and getting all dressed up and going out Saturday evening. My daughter has the most wonderful taste in style and thanks to her, my wardrobe is now completed. This means that when I move into my new condo and begin my RLE, I can do it without worrying about clothing. I even found a truly exciting deal on a matching purse and pocketbook from Kevin Cole, it is so beautiful and stylish. Now all I have to do is buy a new suitcase to carry all of my new clothing home in.... LOL..
The other highlight was Saturday evening when we both got all dressed up to the nines and went out to a show in downtown Portland and then for dinner. The show was a little bit disappointing but the dinner and wine made up for it. And to make it even better, we finished off with some ice cream that was totally out of this world. It is just such a lovely feeling and experience to walk down the street in a dress and heels and enjoy the freedom of being just another woman. Oh, and the occasional looks you get doesn't hurt either....
Today my daughter went back to work and I get to finish painting her bathroom. I began this task last Friday and found it challenging to keep myself from smearing the paint each time my boobs got in the way, gotta love it....... I estimate about 2 hours of work left to do, and then I am going for a walk and treat myself to a nice lunch, with a glass of wine of course.
The entire week prior to my traveling out here, my soon to be X was here for her visit with my daughter. She arrived home the day prior to my leaving which allowed me to live totally enfemme for just shy of 2 weeks. What an experience this has been and what a lead in to my beginning to live full time when my condo is completed in May.
I really have to get on with the painting so this will have to end my story. All that is left to say is that I am one very lucky lady to have such a wonderful, understanding and accepting daughter and to have identified the mistake in my gender role, a mistake which will happily be totally corrected over the next 18 months.
