When I first joined this Forum I remember reading things I swore I would never do. One post was about someone upset that his wife didn't like him wearing polished toe nails to bed, what a Wacko I thought. Of course now my toe nails are polished 90% of the time, what a Wacko I am. Another had a picture of himself with his underarms shaved, what a Wacko I thought. Of course my underarms are shaved now, what a Wacko I am. Wow what next pierced ears, I won't rule it out. Do you do anything now that you used to think you would never do??Jaymee

Yes, I do many things that at onetime I didn't do. One thing I've always tried to do is not judge people by the things they do. Who knows, someone might think I'm a "Wako" because they see me wearing a skirt, heals, etc.

I had my ears pierced in January never thought I'd do that also the amount of time I dress has dramatically increased, never guessed that would be the case.

Maybe the ear piercing trick.
I have done all the other wacko things over and over a long time ago.
I really do not know how I missed my ears.

It is these little fix's which push you and your feminine side slowly forward without you even realising it , once you get use to one thing you move on to the next to get that little fix of excitement until that last one becomes normal to you , toe nails, then finger nails, a bit of make up , ears pierced , feminine jewelry , my last one that I thought I would not do is to carry a shoulder bag all the time , would not be without it now :D

I never thought I'd wear panties on a regular basis, but I've been wearing them pretty much full-time for the past 4 months and don't even give it a second thoght.

I almost totally agree with Joanne f--I've done or am considering everything except ear piercing--not really interested in that one. The more I think about going out, the more I realize I crave all the accouterments including makeup, handbags and jewelry. Just this week I'm planning on visiting Goodwill's not to close to home to look for a shoulder bag, maybe a necklace and most certainly a pretty wristwatch. The way I see it, the more pulled together and complete in the details I look, the more confidence I'll feel and the better I'll fit into wherever I go.

Well, I did it today, everything but the necklace. I went into Goodwill and picked up a fabulous shoulder bag and ladies wristwatch. That after going into Sally's picking up lip gloss and foundation with brush from a very beautiful and helpful GG SA. I loved her hair btw--dark base with blonde on top--a real head turning style framing a very pretty face. At the supermarket I received a "Good afternoon Ma'am!" Now I'm enraptured with my appearance all done up. Red dress, red heels, mew watch and bag. What a Wacko Day--keep them Coming!

It seems to me that we draw strength from each other. I never thought about shaving my body hair but here I sit shaved. I definitely never wanted to venture out of the house but the curiosity has planted a seed in my head. I find myself having new avenues opened up for me all because of the great like minded people here. Maybe I should have left the huge can of worms alone and endeavoured not to open them

Great question!
Never thought i'd go to the gym in shorts with shaved legs.
Never thought i'd shop en drab, even trying on a pair of boots in JCP, to check the fit.

This forum has opened my eyes. You're not a wacko. You're human.there were a lot of things that I swore I wouldn't do and now doing.

At age 54, the idea of dressing for Halloween in ANY costume made me nervous, and the idea of dressing as a woman was completely over the top.
One year later Tina had everything she needed to not only outwardly present as a woman, but to realize that a large part of the being we share was very feminine.
It's not wacko, it's completely insane!
I guess insane is the new normal?

Lets see I wear panties every day and have done so for several years, got my ears pierced, go to mainstream venues dressed and do not even think about it other than normal thoughts of awareness of ones surroundings. Been going out so much that I forget to take pictures as it has become the new normal and not a picture taking moment. Now I have over 170 hours of electrolysis to remove my beard. No lady wants a 5 O'clock shadow. I have clothes for every occasion and enough that I can fully dress for a week at a time without wearing the same things. I get mani / pedi's on a regular basis and always get color, and my drab hair in cut and colored so that I can wear it both ways. I love my life on both sides of the fence.
