Just as it says above, I am now at one month away from my day. When I sent mt deposit 7 months ago, that date seemed so far out of reach. But it is amazing how quick time has gone by. I'm assuming that this next few weeks will fly by also.
As many know, this is a day that we envision when we were young and never imagined possible. Needless to say that I'm starting to get excited, and admittedly nervous too.

If I was that close I would imagine time moving very slowly in anticipation.

Now is he time to prepare yourself by getting plenty of rest and be sure to eat healthy. The time will fly by while you make your nest ready for your return as a butterfly having left your male cocoon.

Well make sure you are set up well for post OP comfort.
No one wants to do housework for awhile afterwards, so get ahead.
Catch up on ALL your laundry.
Clean ALL the bathrooms and vacuum the whole place.
Extra bed sheets pillow cases are a plus so you can have a fresh bed without doing laundry.
Maybe get that gel foam mattress topper now.
Get that extra case of bottled water now.
Etc.

And im excited for you. :)

The worst part of all of this is I will be leaving town for 15 days prior for work. Schedule shows my departure will be Mar 10th. Then back home on the 25th. (hopefully). Then leaving for Thailand VERY early on the 30th. My employment usually keeps me away for 21+ days at a time, but with my SRS, I am only going back for 15. So there is not much time for prep. Or rest and relaxation as Paulette stated. I will be working 15 straight 12 hr days.
Not complaining about my job, as it sure has made my new life possible.

All the best,Nicki! So happy for you. I guess your first journey is reaching an end, and the next one just starting. I just got the referral to see a therapist--so, maybe I'll walk that path too, someday! At least I'm on it!

I haven't any words for you, Nicki, other than to express my sincerest happiness for you and to give you the biggest congratulatory shout possible!

Okay, what happened to the type-size thingee? That "biggest congratulatory shout" bit would be much more effective with larger type.

Oh well....

Congratulations, Nicki!!! Thirty days will fly by and then you will have the rest of your life to be whole. :)
