Taxi Ride

Anyone ever take a taxi to get a make-over or a pedi/mani? I'm really considering it tonight.

I drove a cab when I lived in Las Vegas, a few times I drove people to Glamour Bouquet. I also picked up fares at the gay bars, sometimes they were cd's. I never had the need to take a cab while dressed en femme. Hope you have a good experience.

I did exactly that earlier this year. No problem with the cab ride, but I was disappointed with my makeup.

Sure. At some time or other, I've taken a taxi to most places I go in the city.

No not for that, but around 16 years ago I was out on the town one night and came out of the bar and my vehicle had been towed! So I had to go back in and ask the bar tender what company would have towed it and where it went to. Well, here I am all glammed up on the main street hailing down a taxi to go get my car out of the impound. The taxi ride was fine and even the two biggest guys I have ever seen at the impound were also nice as were the german sheppards. Got my car back, $200 + later and headed to another bar that I wanted to go see. That was a late night, one that I won't ever forget.

While the problem is very rare there can be a religious issue with some taxi drivers, especially in urban downtown areas. Size up the driver, as much as the driver is sizing up you!

I only take a taxi when We going out on the town, never drink n drive.
The rest of the time we just drive were we need to go.
