Yes and no, garters even. If your kinda scared wear a sports bra. I have flown underdressed a few times now. The first time I think I overdid it and still wonder how I didn't get metal pinged but live and learn.
Oh these are within continental US flights, I wouldn't risk it flying international, the stoplight is not nice to me. Last 4 times I got red lighted there AND back!

yes we are we are staying in the states.
I was even thinking of getting the first flight then putting it on at our first stop then wearing it the rest of the day. we have 3 layovers and about 16 hour day of flights and airports. I think I have to only go trough the metal detector one at first airport and by then I will probley not see anyone I know so I don't have to worry about anyone I know seeing me wearing a bra I may go all out and even wear a cami and for sure my gilrs jeans

If you wear one and don't want it to show, you'll need a shirt and a sweatshirt over it. Even then as soon as you cross your arms, depending on how tight your clothes are, it'll show. If you just want the feeling, I'd go with a geni bra and if anyone asks just say it's for back support....

You could put a bra in your carry-on luggage, and then put it on in a restroom after you go through security.

Who cares if you wear a bra? And who's going to ask? Let your freak flag fly girl.-Celeste

Any "protrusion" from your panties, bulging your girl jeans, will be far more obvious than the bra!

Last year I had 84 flights in Canada and the USA and on those flights I wore my bra with underwires about 50% of the time under a blouse (no I am not passable). I am a trusted traveler and so when I fly in Canada I do not have to go thru the body imaging units in Winnipeg but go thru the metal detectors and I have never been stopped for secondary screening in Canada.
When I fly into a city in the US and before I leave the airport, I take a look at the screening procedures so when I leave I know what to expect. If everyone has to go thru the body imaging unit, I wont wear my bra but will put it my carry on luggage and put it on once I passed screening. Once while flying out of Madison WI, I didn’t look at the procedure when I landed and while standing in line to fly home I was shocked to see everyone going into the body imaging unit. I couldn’t get out of the TSA line so I thought what the heck and continued on. I raised my arms and was scanned and then the TSA agent asked me to step aside as he said there was something he needed to check on me. I raised my arms and he felt around the front and back of my bra and then let me go. My heart was racing but I was happy not to be detained.
If you know your airport and the chance of the body imaging being used, you can make the decision, but I would wear it anyways

I prefer not to sit on the edge when flying, I have enough for them to look at in my carry on luggage let alone wearing an underwire bra.

I got patted down once when wearing a bra under my male clothing. The guy checked the straps carefully, but didn't say anything. It was no big deal. Nobody will care about your underwear.
as long as the unconstitutional tsa is searching our body's at airports i refuse to fly.
but from what has been told in many a thread the tsa is ok with it.
there are a number of gals who fly in-fem all the time even in and out of canada with no real problems. so under-dressing should not even get a wink.
but i have heard of ex military having problems with sharpel (even spell check gets it wrong- but little bits of metal) still in them.
best advice i can give is just act normal.
remember that scene (forget the name of the movie) in the old drug smuggling movie, the american guy wore a jacket and was sweating very nerves, then had the guards point machine pistols at him. they were looking for bombers not drugs. if he acted "normal" he would have gotten the drugs home.

One time I flew I was wearing a pretty lightweight sports braw, and was pulled asside for a quick screening. Nothing other then professional bye the TSA and took only a few seconds.

Usually I don't wear a bra when I fly (internationally or just in the States) but one time when flying to NY I forgot and even though I was nervous going through the metal detector nothing "went off" and I wasn't stopped. Incidentally, I should point out that the bra I was wearing did not have an underwire.
