I walked into Escapades last night in semi-drab. I had on guy pants but everything else was girl stuff. I also had on light mascara and blush. Still I looked very male. It takes a lot to hide that. Just as I walked in I saw this TG walking out. At first I didn't know she was TG until I saw the high heels. If I had realized it a few seconds earlier I would have struck up a conversation.
I went up to the bar and Ken had this look on his face. I was like "What?" He just kept looking at me like I screwed up. I kept asking him "What?" Finally he said, "This TG just left because she said she felt out of place. And I said to myself, 'Where's Jules?' then you walk in in PANTS!!" That was the first time last night I kicked myself for being so lazy. The next time was about two minutes later.
I looked to my right and there was Keith, a friend of Laura's. I met him in drab a week & a half ago. He wanted to see me dressed then and asked if I had a picture. I didn't. So after that I carried around a picture for about a week but took it out of my pants when I washed them. Then I go out in drab again and see Keith again. No Julie, no picture. I need to stop going out in drab! It's been so cold and snowy lately I just have a hard time thinking about going out in a skirt. I need to get over that. I mean it's only a short walk from my car into the building. Geez Jules, get over it!
Now I feel like getting dressed and going out but it's only 2:15 in the afternoon and the Bears are getting their butts kicked by the Steelers. :mad:
