I think I have a feminine side!

It's funny Suzy. Many years ago, u wouldn't find a woman even riding in a truck here, out of the MidWest.

However, these days, that's all they drive. And, they always reverse out of spaces, not into them. So, the fact that u even tried to back in sounds pretty manly. At least, you're driving a truck and not a Porsche. So, it's a good fem beginning, I guess.

No all it means is you cant reverse a van, as my Army staff sergeant used to say if you cant drive it backwards don't drive it forwards. a better indication would be to your feminine side is you wear dresses and think mama mia is a great film. love and hugs Sarah xxx

You mean you did not come of a farm how would you back out of a 10 acra padock through a 15 foot wide gate, with a 17 foot wide impilment & its over 20 foot in length, gee a van...... is nothing , it's a peace of cake for a woman........i dono town'es,

There is a simple Trick that I use and it works every time
1 Stop the car
2 jump out of the drivers side door
3 Remove your skirt (hoping no body sees you)
4 Put on a pair of trousers (still hoping no body sees you)
5 Maneuver your vehicle
6 Repeat when necessary

I saw on the show "Canada's Worst Drivers" their lesson on parallel parking. From it, I gleaned the idea to be more aware of where your rear wheels are. I don't know how much this will help you, but it worked wonders for me and not just for parallel parking

Being blonde I just went out and looked at my car. The rear wheels are on the back axle. Still couldn't park even though I knew they were there :heehee:

I live in a place where every must drive on the wrong side of the road and it is legal to drive backwards everywhere. In fact it is a trick question on the driver's exam. Q. Where is it legal to operate a motor vehicle in reverse? A. Everywhere. Really. I Love Mamma Mia. It taught me many lesson about life. Live on an island and accomplish nothing.
