Yup. Title says it all. I am officially a bridal gown addict! I just won another one. Vintage, long sleeve satin and lace. Hope it fits. This will be number three in the closet but over all probably my sixth! When I get it I'll take photos of it if it fits.

Nothing wrong with that unless you run out of closet space. At least you are all prepared for the wedding.

Its is always a good idea to have a spare wedding dress on hand. You never know what will happen. Lightning can strike anywhere--anytime.
Or in my case, a mouse got into my garage and ate a few bites of of the hem. Lucky I had a spare.

I would love to try one on but owning one would be a bit OTT for me. I would have to hire myself out as a spare bride at a wedding.

My local Goodwill brings out all their donated gowns (bridal and formal wear) in the spring. Actually they are very reasonable compared to the original cost.
A nice, but expensive addiction.

I got mine at Goodwill for $25. They have gone up to $40 since then though :(

I wish I could get one; But It would have to be special order, and cost a fortune.
But I can dream

Oh, Bridalboy, I'm definitely an addict! I LOVE wedding dresses! I wish I could live in a bridal shop and try on wedding dresses 24/7! :)

Heavens! Owning just one would be a fantasy fulfillment! But it's hard to find them in my size, and I'm a little particular about what I'd want mine to look like. I'd want at least some sleeves, for instance, whereas most bridal gowns these days are either sleeveless or strapless.
Of course, I'd also want all the accessories, like the crinolines, headpiece and veil, appropriate shoes and undergarments, and a bouquet to clutch. :)

I have been to a bridal shop and tried on a few dresses. It is amazing!!! The 3rd dress I tried on was a perfect fit it was so beautiful. The attendant said she had never seen a dress fit someone so well with out alterations. She got me a pair of heels to try some jewelry a veil. Standing there infront of all those mirrors dressed so beautiful nearly brought a tear to my eye.
