my daughter called tonight

My daughter called me tonight and ask if i would like to join her and my younger daughter and brides maids on saturday to pick out her wedding dress. I have cried for over a hour as that makes me so happy as her mother is in florida with her boy friend on holiday. She said that i have great taste in dresses and she wants me there. Omg can not tell you how great i feel right now a very special moment for me. My daughters are the best i love them so much. Marianne

as i told many i was goning bridel dress shopping with my oldest daughter 24 and my younger daughter 22 for bridel grown . also younger is bride maid and four other girls att. well what a treat day my daughter choose a gown and i said that is your your second choice because of price and she said the one i really like is 1200 hundred more and i told her i do not care want you to have the best. so we got it as well as my dress that my daughter said she loved and wanted me to wear
and also liked. bride att are just out of college also and have very little money so we got them the gowns that my daughter really wanted them to have. after that we had dinner and was so much fun to listen to these young girls talk really funny. when i dropped my daughters off at their home they both hugged me and said you are the greatest mother that any girl ever had. needlees to say i cried all the way home. what a great day and what a great feeling i have . love you all just wanted to share marrianne

As a single parent who raised a teenaged daughter, a couple of the fondest memories that I have of those years was when we shopped for her two prom dresses. Yes, it probably helped that I had a sense of fashion, etc. but what meant the most to me that we had made it. It had been tough but we had made it through all the hurdles and pitfalls that led up to this point in her life. Congratulations on having such a wonderful relationship with your daughter. Treasure the event.
