I really have had a couple of interesting days. It started because of My Birthday and my SO winning on the lottery (She only won $500 bucks so no, we aren't rich;) ). She came to me and asked what would I like since we had the extra cash she would like to get me something "big". Having most everything that I want I just said "something Pretty" which she replied "I'm not comfortable with that" which started the gears in my mind spinning, warning signs and the whole 9. This was 2 days ago.
Last night she came home with a small present, a pair of men's pajama bottoms (which I tore the night before my favorite comfy pair), A nail kit, 2 polishes, and some hose. Now I am confused because I thought maybe the fact that her SO was a CD had caught up to her and we were headed to a DADT (or worse) senerio.
She has been very accepting of this and truly supportive, I have been extremely lucky, so I asked her "I thought you were uncomfortable with this?" She stated not the cding but buying clothes for other people. She has never liked it and avoids it at all costs. Which, when looking back through our time together, she's right. I don't recall a time that she has bought anyone any clothes items. So I held up the pajama bottoms and hose and said "what are these?" laughing She said those aren't clothes also laughing. So she promised we would go shopping this weekend for "something pretty" together which I always love doing :)
Today, after work, she is heading out for a GNO which unfortunately is falling apart by the minute so she will probably go out alone (bingo). before leaving she asks if I wanted to go, being the smartass I am I said only if I can as Joanne and to my surprise she said "if you want to, I don't have a problem with it". Which honestly almost floored me. Now, I know a lot of you are going to think I am a dumb ass passing on this going out opportunity but I told her Joanne is staying in today.
Less than half an hour ago she called and a friend is going to go with her but she is going to have to pay her way. Her friend is coming by to actually pick up the money so she asked me "How far along is Joanne right now?". I told her she is painting her toes so there's no problem on the money pick up lol So I am hoping they are dry before she actually gets here ;)
Who ever said life is boring must not have been a CD ;) Have a great weekend ahead :)
