You can't ride a bike in a skirt. Well, maybe you can, but what a show that would be! I wanted to take a little ride today, just on the bike paths and side streets (all flat) and tried to hop on my wife's "girl" cruiser bike but failed to even hit the seat! Live and learn, Jenn. I went to a coed school. And, NEVER saw any girls in a skirt that tite or short on a bike. Not even a girl's bike!

In the days of old when there were "girl's" bikes, girls did not wear short skirts. Girls wore fuller skirted dresses or skirts that came at least to the knees. It wasn't until the 1960's that mini skirts started appearing. Those were days of modesty. Girls and women would not be wearing skirts that short. You may want to try wearing that skirt in cooler weather with tights. Of course, if you're an exhibitionist, you're set.

I think I'd still wear a skirt even while riding my bike. Though I think I have a pair of short shorts that would work.
