So I was working out with a personal trainer at my gym when an older gentleman came up to me and said that he really liked my height! He said it looked good on me and that I was very proportional. LOL I'm 6'0" BTW.

Some times our seeming liabilities become our assets! :D

I posted a worried thread here three years ago because of my height. I'm 6'6 and it's not been a hindrance at all. :)

That's awesome to hear, Rose, and needs to be told more often! Besides, you get the benefits of having nice long legs.:)

I have said here many times do not allow your height be a problem for you. What does a crazy old broad know anyhow?

Yeah, I have had that height problem all my life ..... in reverse! Being the shortest one in most groups from friends to work acquaintances, to party gatherings, it is now a pleasure to be the perfect size, for me anyway, at 5-6, while en femme.

I'm also 6-6, long legs and drop dead gorgeous too :) I go out where I want, walk tall and proud and enjoy being me

I dunno. When I'm standing with a group of girls, I really feel self-conscious. Usually, I prefer to sit and talk or I try to "scrunch". And I'm 5' 9".

I too feel self-conscious. Even though I know that logically I have nothing to fear. There are are gg's who are 6'2" and taller I still cannot get over it. Like Stephanie I tend to slouch or seek a way to sit down.

6'2" is 99th percentile in the US. That means that 1% of the women are 6'2" or taller barefoot. Considering that some woman prefer to wear moderate heels that puts another percent or so over that mark in Real Life.

I've ended up in some very public places where there was no place to sit. I get the looks that any tall woman gets but I've never felt uncomfortable. To people of average height tall is just tall.

You're six feet tall, April?

I dunno. I was thinking you were more 5 foot 11 3/4. :heehee:

Either way, it must be nice!

And I gotta say, I love your new avatar! :)

I am 6'3 barefoot, so I just go out with girls with taller heels!

But, seriously, I think you get fewer bad stares if you try to own it, i.e. keep your shoulders back with the small of your back arched slightly and walk with confidence. Slouching seems to draw negative attention. Besides, if you are out en femme, you should be having a blast, not hiding. Just my two cents.

April that was a nice compliment he gave you. Some of the most popular actresses are in the 6' range. Like I said earlier having nice long legs is an asset.

Same here! If anything, I get more compliments on THAT than anything! I don't have to work on that, yet...it's the most talked about.

That's good to hear. I'm 6'8". My wife is 6'5", so I know how much attention tall GGs get.
