Looking at myself in Photos

Of late, I have been taking pictures of myself as Ashley; and for the first time, I do not mind looking at photos of myself. I can always remember, never liking to stop and take a picture, let alone look at the results afterwards. I was always unhappy with my personal appearance, and I think it showed. Now, as I have been taking more pictures and video of myself as Ashley. I love to see how; wonderful I look, I love seeing how much happier in pictures I am. It's a pleasant change from all the other pictures I have of myself.
I am loving that I accept, who I am choosing to be in life. I would not give up my freedoms for anything. Piece of mind is so special, I never want to let it go!!! I can remember when I was younger, I thought that I had something seriously wrong with me, or that I was defective in some sort of way. Life you throw such interesting curve balls, no wonder I miss them all the time. Never liked baseball!!! LOL!!!!:tongueout

I know what you mean about not liking your early photos, I am there now, I can not seem to smile for the camera, but with no camera around my wife & friends say I look the happiest I've been in many years.
