My wife and I were talking the other day about how many clothes I have she says I have way more than her and upon an inspection she is right. How do you stop the pink fog every time I go somewhere I see an outfit I have to buy is there a way to slow this down? I have been dressing for a while so it not likes its new to me it is just that I love every piece of clothes that I see

Start buying accessories instead of outfits if you have to.... Make sure that you both can share/wear them and then start going out more!

I am sure it is just a phase you are going through.
It will soon pass, probably after you lose interest in X dressing.
By the way a friend said, pigs might fly. If that is any help.

My H takes time to make his own clothes, well not make from scratch
But he adds diamonds to shoes, Also he makes wonderful beads and hand carves necklaces too.
He finds it very rewarding, and sometimes he makes special stuff for me .
Now hes making hand made clogs, he really is gifted.

My SO and I both have an addiction to clothes. Goodwill, Saver's, and st. Vincent's are our best friends. Then, we recycle and eBay. We always have a new wardrobe. I hate to give you no hope...but there's no hope. We just learned to indulge without breaking the bank!

The way to slow down or stop is when you realise how much money you are wasting on additional outfits that you don't really need. Obviously I don't know how much of your time you spend dressed but there is no way a CDer needs as big a wardrobe as a GG. Being a CDer is like having to support a 2nd person on 1 persons income.
I would love to go out and spend £1,000s on Maria but there are also other priorities in life.

We do most of our shopping at second hand stores, and unless she buys something, I don't either. We also have a rule that something has to go back before something new is brought home. Not to say that I don't have a rack of clothes, but sometimes I get sick of the same top, and so we just re-donate it.
New clothes are too expensive, and besides, the money goes to a good cause.

My SO and I have vastly different wardrobes..... she's a size 18/20 and prefer sweat pants or long (calf length) skirts. For shoes, it's 'bout 20 pairs of croccs and nothing with a heel of any height.
For me, it's 30 LBDs, a bunch of skirts (knee lenth or mini), and heels mostly 4" and one or two 3"...
Oh yea, she has no idea what Renne buys or does....

Leave your cash, checkbook and credit cards at home! That will leave the only option to be shoplifting.

Just learn to budget. And go through your wardrobe to sort out what really doesn't work for you...you know there are some things that looked good in the store, but not so much when you got them home.

Take a good hard look at your receipts and/or credit card statements. If that doesn't slow you down Hon, nothing will.:heehee: Basically in this "business" we also have to acquire self control if we are going to survive. It ain't rocket science my friend, it is common sense.:battingeyelashes::)

Possible donation of rarely worn items to goodwill? That might shrink wardrobe down and ..... make room for more..... ;-)
