So i'll be starting hrt very soon

In two weeks actually. I'm very excited and nervous. Thankfully my best friend will accompany me to cool my nerves. I'm 25 yrs old and very slim (160 lbs). I'm not sure what to expect from it and i know it effects others differently. I was curious to know what others have experienced from hrt around my age? I'd just like to have an idea on what i may expect.

From all the research and reading I have done, the earlier you do it the better your chances of losing the male markers.

Good luck dear, the only advice I can give you is to keep a journal, it has helped me so much especially when I think things are not changing on body or mind, and you will read back a few month and realize that the changes are happing slowly.

For anyone, young or old, HRT is a crapshoot. It all comes down to genetics and how well your body processes the hormones. Being 25 you stand a much better chance than say someone 35, 45, or 55. Had you been able to start at 15 your chances would have been much much better. So take the results you get and enjoy. Remember, there is always plastic surgery to fix what HRT doesn't. My main point here is expect reasonable results and do not expect to be a beautiful diva or model overnight.

Got my blood taken now I have to wait next week for a day of mandatory counseling, then 4 weeks later to officially start. This is taking sooooo long! The wait time is stressing me out. (-_-v)

So I've started (may 1st) sooner than I thought which is great! I'm on both spiro and delestrogen. I'm pretty excited to see some changes in the course of the year
