Was going through my library and just came across a first edition paperback (1967) of Edward D. Wood, Jr.'s "Black Lace Drag," apparently the first of the crossdressing/transgender novels he authored!
Hugs,
Persephone.

Barbara is that what you are wearing in your avatar?
Bit of a change from dressing up as a bloke.
Yes, I remember looking at the book in the corner of a sleazy book shop once.
I was too scared to buy it then. It seemed a bit erotic then too.

Just checked a couple rare book dealers on-line with no luck. It may be valuable to collectors although my inclination would be to keep it.

Thanks for turning me on to this. I'm a die hard Ed Wood fan and have almost all of his movies, but I never knew he wrote novels. I'd love to read it. Knowing Ed it has to be interesting, and probably bizarre.

Copies of his books (originals or reprints) appear regularly on eBay, if you can't find any under his name, try searching for "transvestite book" etc.
