I have a question. If you start HRT and things start to change and then you stop and stay off for 6 or so months, and then start back up again, does your "puberty" pick up where it left off or are you pretty much endowed as you're gonna get?

For those following my thread on " the war on breasts", I've been talking things out with my wife.....I haven't come 100% clean yet but we are talking about going back to a Dr. And since I had a lull in my meds (and yes I have been taking them the way I used to currently) but there was a period of about 6 months where I didn't...we were both wondering if we should expect any more breast growth..

I stopped one month for SRS and pretty lost my breasts entirely. They did not grow back for the next 18 months. They finally did come back when I started Androcur again. Everyone is different and there is no common experience related to breast growth and hormones.

Frances is correct. It is different for each person. Yes you can stop them but some effects become less and some don't. Depends on the amount of time on them. Starting them again will bring back the effects, however no matter what you would need to see a doctor and have blood tests to get the correct balance again. It may not be the same amounts when restarted.

I started and stopped hrt several times in the beginning and I can say that when restarting, the development picked right up where it had left off. I never stopped for more than 6 months though. I am 50 and have now been on hrt for over two years and am progressing nicely.
