I have been searching the Internet for the past few weeks trying to find just the right piece of shape wear to be the first to add to my wardrobe.

Well, I just found my answer!!!:o
I started calling local lingerie shops after several discussions with young ladies with varying degrees of mild acceptance to outright disdain, and came across a place called Le Rouge Boutique. (Austin, Texas)
The lady I talked to outright stated that cross dressing is a normal everyday thing and said they have all kinds of things for me to look at, try on, etc. We talked a little about options and she suggested I should start by coming and getting fitted for a corset. I will be dropping by after work for my fitting I am so excited I can't stand it.
I will post details of my visit later.

BTW. She is also the buyer for the boutique and told me there is a new line of panties on the market specifically designed fit cross dressing men. Not the granny panties, but Lacey pretty bikinis, things and boy shirts with just a little extra fabric in the crotch. Check with you favorite shop to see when they might be available.

More kudos to Suzi:hugs:... The corset fitting was wonderful. :D

I tried on several; different colors and sizes until we came to a beautiful red one with a lace overlay design. It immediately caught my eye as the prettiest one of the bunch.
It was also a few sizes smaller than the others which concerned me. As it turns out, it fit the best and looked the best on me.
It was perfect but a bit pricey so I knew I was going to have to wait a few days until payday. :sad:
I asked Sherry to put it back for me and she said she would be happy to hold onto it for me.
I felt a little bad for her since I am pretty sure she earns commissions, and decided to shop a bit for something I could pay for now and found a really cute black satin garter and also picked up a few pair of stockings.
As I was checking out, I kept looking past Sherry at "MY" corset on the back counter and I just couldn't help it.
I absolutely love the way it looks and feels and I had to have it.
I told her, 'You know, that's what credit cards are for. I'll go ahead and take the corset, too."
As she rang up my purchase, I asked her for one more thing to which she quickly obliged.
She helped me back into the corset, I added the garter(the garters on the corset are actually too long) and a pair of stockings and wore the whole set out the store and home. Yes, had my regular clothes on over them...
Thing is, I have never been out in puiblic before dressed in anything more than a pair of panties... This was a very big step for me.

I love this corset and am having trouble figuring out if I can sleep in it tonight because the only thing I am not looking forward to is trying to get it back on by myself until I learn how.

Le Rouge is a great store. The sales staff was great and not a single one of the other customers, male or female, even looked at me while I was shopping.
