One thing,,, I don't own any women's high heel, or any heel shoes. All of my shoes are flat or are sneakers. Also, I don't wear women's panties or slips, or girdles, or gater belts.

Okay girls...here's the gawd awful truth about me. As much as I preach about girls vamping in public, I do like to dress like a ****. I vogue at times. In front of the full length mirror in my bedroom that is. Even at the advanced age of 54 yr.s I still dress up in teenage fashion. I can't help it. I love the styles these days. And I am so thankful that the mini skirt still flourishes.(they first came into being in the mid 60's & I was into modeling such for my own enjoyment) I peruse TEEN VOGUE, COSMOPOLITAN, SEVENTEEN, SWEET 16, MADEMOSELLE,Y.M. just to name a few. But I derrive a lot of inspiration and coordinate ideas that way. So,,,don't hate me because I'm beautiful. Okay? How about some feedback on what I've just revealed to you girls. Can it be so wrong to want to enhance what I have to work with in an otherwise drab drab world, Huh? Love & kisses, Darlena :rose:

I only own one dress, one skirt and two pairs of heels. :o But I have numerous slacks, jeans, tops and sweaters. I have never had a makeover and have never worn glam or glitzy makeup. I am just rather plain and boring, but that's ok, I'm not trying to impress anyone. :o

I've never dressed all the way... i.e., worn makeup, falsies, etc. I think of myself as so masculine-looking that I figured, what's the point? I'm starting to change that attitude, though. I wish I could find a woman who could help me learn to put on makeup, and things like that.

Yes, this takes you not only to the other side of the spectrum, but you also fall right off the end of the spectrum and land in the netherworld of CDing, very few CDs return from this region. lol

My feeling ladies is that most of us missed the boat. We spent our lives hidden and had minimum time to dress. We didn't go through all the stages of dress women experience as they grow up. No one ever showed us how to dress or put on makeup. Now at 55 since my wife moved out I try everything. It's great fun.
If you want to dress sexy,go ahead. If you don't want to put on makeup fine. If you only like flats that's ok.(Personally I would be caught dead in a pair of flats!:) I'm only put on a bit of lipstick for years but these last few months I've been learning how to apply makeup. It's great fun and I love it.
I think if you try differant things you'll feel and look better. We deny ouselves most of our lives and we more than any group of people should be able to embrace the people we were born. Not bad, just differant. Remember you're in that box a Looooooong time. Big hugs. The Nike slogan says it best"Just do it".

Jeannie

PS. Wow Darlena! You look exactly like Marilyn Monroe! Don't be lealous but people say I look exactly like FRANK ZAPPA! :) Hot rats. Weasels ripped my flesh! I'm doing the mud shark at this moment!:) Dynamo hum! Hot rats!

I do admit that when I'm dressed up in womens clothing, panties, pantyhose, a sexy lace cami, womens slacks, and a nice womens sweater, finished off in a nice pair of high heels, I do have the urge to explore my feminine side.
When I'm dressed, I have increased desires to settle my "bi" curiosities.
I'm not saying that all cross dressers are bi or bi curious, you don't have to be. I've asked this question in many forums: Do you think men who wear panties are bi or bi-curious? and do you think bi or bi-curious men like to wear panties? Myself, I've worn panties since I was a teenager, but have only settled my "curiosities" during the last few years. I think the only things in life that you'll regret, are not doing the things that you wanted to try.
Maybe this response can stir up some interesting conversations.

Thanks for starting the thread, Wendy.
I loved your post, Jeannie. Like you said, "JUST DO IT!" sounds just about right to me. I'm not sure if I have anything that odd to fess up about my dressing. I will share a little fantasy... though I have no interest in physically transitioning otherwise, I often daydream about getting breast implants. I don't expect that's uncommon either, eh. Oh well, boring old plain jane crossdressing me. :D Hugs all, Tammi

This is a good one , and futher reveals just how different we are. I am fascinated by that part of this phenomena, and to think, there was a time when I thought I was the only one. That is mind-boggling. This is a common behavior pattern to say the least. Which is why I don't know why it can't be more accepted and out, if soooo many men engage in it. What happened?

I seem to be quite heated on this board tonight and am having fun posting. I guess for me it would be along the lines of being more bi-curious. I have been going to this drive-thru restaurant daily, and the clerk has been peeking my interest. Its certainly not som'n I am consciously doing to raise these feelings, and they come as a total suprise. But I keep having this recurring fantasy of him taking me out on a date as lady K. To a nice high end eatery and then dancing or som'n. And kissing him goodnight at the doorstep. He is much shorter than me. Now as my male self, I would never even approach something like that. Weird. Fascinating.
All of these 'potentialities' wrapped up inside me.
I also have this recurring fantasy of me as the girl in Woody Allen's Mighty Aphrodite. Pretty strange huh.

Hi all,

I like trying weird stuff occasionally (don't ask me why--I don't know). :D

Once, I wore two pairs of pantyhose; one in the usual manner (over which I slipped on a panty girdle), and the other pair I donned only after having put on a pair of high heels. Yep, that's right: pantyhose over heels. Uh, the hose didn't last too long. But it was sort of fun for while being thus "locked in" to my heels.

Love,
CJ

I know why???

You have a subconscience need for S&M, you have an inner desire to be confined tightly. So, don't worry about it, let it out, you are among friends, come out my sister, come out of that S&M closet and be free.

Or maybe you are just a weird alien or something.

I have told almost everything to my wife. The ony thing that she does not know is that I would love to be her maid. To get all drssed up and to serve her. That would be the ultimate for me. She doesn't know about that though.

Several years ago my wife and I attended a dinner with the Governor General of British Columbia. There must have been two hundred people there but under my three peice suit was my favourite lavender lace bra and matching panties with a garter belt and black seamed stockings. After all, I knew there was going to be some nicely dressed women there, including my wife and I didn't want to feel left out. :D

Most of my dressing sessions involve a huge black satin scarf that I pin the sides together to form an "off the shoulder" tube dress.

I can never find pantyhose that fit me well, and often resort to a black lace bodystocking I bought over a decade ago.

I currently own only one pair of shoes...but they are really sexy.

(I'm going to have ample time to indulge in my CDing in a few weeks. I need new clothes, but I have to go the mail order route. Suddenly Femem is a site with a lot of clothes that may be suitable for me. Can anyone recommend them?)

Well, I've been dressing for almost 60 years and I've never mentioned this to anyone. When I was a teenager I really thought I was a transsexual. I felt I was a girl in a boy's body. That was in the late 1940s and there was absolutely no information to be had so I repressed everything thinking I was a freak. Every once and a while it comes back. I know I'm probably not transsexual now. Though sometimes I wonder, if I knew then what I know now, I would probably be a woman now.

I'm seldom found without a bra and panties under my drab. I seldom put on pantyhose though I love them. I just may start doing that.
