So, I was getting ready to go to this month's meeting...but since last month, Daylight Savings Time has started, meaning it's still light out for my walk out to the car! With butterflies in my stomach, I stepped forward. Nothing bad happened. I got into the car and drove away.
The meeting was smaller than last time, more of an informal discussion. I enjoyed it. I felt more "centered" as Amy than I had before.
On the way home, night had now fallen, and I stopped at Walgreens to pick up a game card for my fiancee. The young man behind the counter didn't bat an eye, just rang me up while mentioning that he didn't know these cards were $20, and he played a different game. "Oh, I've heard of that one!" I said, still in Amy-voice of course. :)
I enjoyed this evening. And another couple of "firsts" fall for me-as-Amy.
