Mistaken for a Sales Associate

I can't help but smile the first time this happened, I realized hey they have no idea!

I was in the Lennox Sq. mall In Atlanta, I believe I was in Nostrum's. I was dressed in a dark suit, hose and heels. I was standing at the top of an escalator when a well dressed woman got off and asked me where, the Petite departments was. "Excuse me can you tell me where I can find the petite's?"

Having just past them I smiled and said demurely "They're right over there"

Thank you Ma'am she said Oh that glorious Ma'am!!!

Can anyone relate any similar experiences of self actualization.

I cant say i had an experience like that, but i can say the lennox sq mall is awesome.... I try to go there and arbor place often (i live in alabama)

I was not dressed but in a computer store I was asked by a number of prospective customers about a small laptop on sale.
I gave such a wrap that nine people bought them.
The sales manager was amongst the SA's that were selling them and when I went to buy one for myself they gave it to me.
It was a $200 special with a solid state drive in it.
They gave it to me at a discount as I had theoretically sold nine of them in a buying frenzy.
I still get offered positions selling computers on a Saturday morning.
I do enjoy advising the customers and have been responsible for a number of sales since.
I am reminded of Sheldon doing something similar in Big Bang Theory.
They wante to chuck him out of the store tho'.
