Question for Southern Ontario members

I'm not a member - not yet, anyways - but I check in on their website from time to time to see what they are up to, and to stay up-to-date on any news of interest to Toronto's TG community that they might be posting there.

I do know that they have also been instrumental in helping organize the annual Gals' Spring Fling in conjunction with Ottawa's Gender Mosaic group, which is a TG-themed event that has been taking place in the Kingston/Gannanoque area of the 1000 Islands region for several years now. I'd love to attend myself one day, but finances and personal considerations preclude me from doing so at the moment. My understanding is that the next event is coming up again in late May of this year.

I believe that NancyTO and maryannsung, who are also fellow forum members here, are active in this group and can fill you in with more details as to what the Xpressions organization is all about.

When I lived in Downtown T.O. I knew quite a few of the girls. Expressions is well established and well thought of. I'm not a member, cause I'm not really a fan of hanging out with other t people, but in the Church St. villiage, we all run into each other. If you're not a member, you can go to one of their dinner/meetings as a guest, and check it out.
