I have been out once last halloween but would really love to have a girls night out sometime. Are there any cd friendly spots in mid Missouri or Kansas City?

Tiffany, I think you will just have to break the bonds and try a mall in the daytime.

Try someplace that you feel comfortable with. When the urge arises I drive to a residential area and take a stroll. I usually go in the early evening. Halloween is the time to break out without too much consequences if you encounter friends, coworkers and relatives. I would not take any advice of running off to a mall, if there would be adverse consequences to discovery. Do some research on your own. Check local resources and support groups. Check out the venues dressed as a male to see how the people interact. Good planning and preparation will eliminate bad choices.

I feel you are correct and I am worrying over negative responses which may not even occur. When I went out last halloween I had such a positive experience. It seems silly to have a closet full of Tiffany's clothes and not use them. Seeing other's journeys into the world definately makes me less timid. I will have to work on makeup skills. I see a lot of my boy face when I am dressed and made up but wonder if a lot of us do. Thank you for the encouragement. It is so nice to have girls to share my thoughts with.

Drive to a park and stroll the park for a nice place to read a good book. If youve got a kindle you have enough to read. Don't forget to take a little snack.
