A little pang

Went thru both closets to find things I can no longer wear, or just don't wear, to donate to charity.

Putting all my heels in the bag felt bad. :sad:

But, since my ankle surgery, I can't wear them anymore. Hard enough to just walk in tennis shoes.

If my ankle ever gets strong enough to wear heels again, then I can get some new ones. Until then, it's flats.

Donna the sands of time comes into play here and I agree it is sad closing one door and opening another.
Stay optimistic and look to new adventures all around the corner.
You should souvenir a keepsake out of them for memory.

I've still got my very first pair from back in the 70's. Wedges. Leather is a little cracked, so not suitable for charity.

I know how you feel! I used to wear 4'' heels daily! Now it's one inch max!!
