Hi everyone,
Just sharing an experience. In my first ever post (here (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?191172-Thought-I-d-say-hi&p=3131607&viewfull=1#post3131607)), I proposed the goal of going to the movies en femme. Well, I achieved this goal yesterday; I saw The Big Wedding.
I had just bought some high heel booties (somehow I always end up buying shoes), and wanted to try them out. So, off to the movies I went. It was somewhat more routine than I would have expected at the time I made that introductory post. I guess I'm getting used to going out en femme.
It was somewhat sad going to the movies alone; I really felt like I needed a gentleman friend to escort me.
Today is a lovely day, so I think Becky will be going out again (but ow! my face is turning into mush from all the shaving).

Congratulations Becky! That really is a big accomplishment and I'm glad it went well for you. That was one of the very first things I did by myself when I started going out so I can totally relate to the experience.
I hope your day goes well today and that your face recovers!

Hi Becky,
I'm glad you got out and accomplished your goal. I go to the movies a lot and usually alone. As I don't really enjoy the alone part I do enjoy being out & about. Keep it up.

That's great, Rebecca! I'll remember that if there's a movie that my fiancee really wants to see, especially if it's more of a "chick flick"...I'll suggest that I take her as Amy. Who knows, it might help me enjoy the movie more! :)

Alone to the movies is not always fun, but I find I can liven up (aka - entertain) people before the movie, it makes it more fun for me

Good stuff!
I have not gone to the movies yet ... bet you were kinda relieved when the lights went down ... how did you feel when the lights came back up?

Sounds like fun! I wish I could do that with my wife. In fact, even without the dressing up part, I'd still like to see a movie with my wife. Haven't done so in many years due to having kids. Last movie we saw together was the Sex and the City movie (which is dated 2008). Oh my, time does fly by.

Well, by this stage I had already gotten used to going out en femme. My main thoughts at that time were that it'd be nice to have someone to go with. Nowadays I'm less worried about being caught, and more worried about being totally ignored. (My internal monologue: "Damn it! Do you know how much time I spent getting dressed like this. Acknowledge me!".)
