Lacamas

I bought a new pair of laceup knee boots.
They are a very nice light brown velvet color with 3" heels.
Very easy to walk in. No problem when walking on concrete or those tile floors in the mall.
The prob is after wearing them for 2 weeks the heel pad has broke into small pieces.
All that is left of that heel pad is a small metal post.
They are great boots and i am not going to return them.
I guess off to the shoe repair shop.
I wonder how much it is going to cost to replace that heel pad.
I sometimes wonder about the quality of construction on some of my shoes.
Last year i bought some great boots online and the zipper pull tab broke.
Another pair that i got on ebay the heel actually broke in two.
