I am just curious. I have googled this question but never get any satisfactory results. Is there a way to make your feet more narrow? I have small feet as it is and love it. I wear a size 8.5-9.5w. I would love to not have to hassle with finding wide shoes. Not that I can wear womens shoes right now anyways but if there is a way (exercises or something) I can do to make them more narrow for the time being, that would be awesome. I have heard there are things doctors recommend to make them more narrow, but I can't find on google what those actually are. Anyone have any ideas? Id love to fit in regular shoes.

Ive also heard that wearing high arch support insoles and finding a heel with a tapered look both give the appearance of being more narrow. I want my feet to actually be more narrow.

E.L. You look very elegant in your avatar and I'm surprised you have wide feet. Barring 'cosmetic' surgery down there, narrowing one's feet is a no-no. I'm Medically qualified but not a specialist Orthopaedic wallah. A consultation wouldn't go amiss, however.
Meanwhile, like me you have to specify nice elegant slim-looking courts or similar of a size you can get into comfortably, even though you don't fill the front inch or so. Very high heels would be out, of course....no loss, in my opinion. Elegant sandals would be more difficult, I think.

Lol ya, surgery isnt worth it to me. I'll stick with wide feet lol. Thank you for the complement on my figure. :) my feet are just slightly too wide for regular shoes. Oh well. No loss I guess. Was just hoping there was an easy way.

Wide feet aren't so bad, really. And with feet as small as yours (better than my 12W women's), you should be able to find a good selection of women's shoes on-line and in stores.

I know I'm gonna stick with my 12w heels, although did order some nice heels today from glamorboutique.com and they are on sale, in 14

Hi Eva Lynn,

Like you, I have small but wide feet. And I have had problems finding shoes that fit my width. However, I have recently bought some heels that fit. One thing that I have found useful if the toe area is tight is to use shoe trees to stretch the area a bit.

Awesome. I'll have to try that. I wonder if it would stretch regular width shoes enough to fit in. Just a thought. Maybe not. That might be too much stretch for regulars.

I bought these shoe strechers, made for pumps up to size 11. http://www.footsmart.com/P-High-Heel-Shoe-Stretcher-Each-90095.aspx?c=None

I don't think it will make a B fit like a D but a C to a D is possible.

Sorry, Eva.
The Chinese do foot binding from an early age.
It is not recommended for late starters.
Keep stretching those shoes.
Enjoy the grip you have on Terra Firma.

I don't know of anything that will norrow the feet. There are several ways to ssize a shoe to your foot. If the show is leather, normal wear will aloww it the stretch to your foot. If that is not fast enough for you, get them wet and wear them. Once they are dried apply some saddle soap to replace the natural oils in the leather. If the are vinyl, get a stretcher and heat slowly with a hair drier. This will soften the plastic and aloow it to stretch. Go slow with stretching with both types of materials as they won't shink back if you go to far.
