She's a Spitfire!

So I found myself in town with only one day to devote to being a woman, not enough time for tennis or golf so what's a girl to do? Go shopping! Off to the mall, where I scored some cute espadrilles and a chunky necklace that I though would be perfect with my blue dresses...this morning it was chilly and I had to go to FEDEX to send a fax, so I put on a dress and heels and my new necklace and decided to walk, and I'm so glad I did: as I passed two guys sitting having coffee outside a local restaurant, I overheard one of them say to the other as I passed them by, "She's a spitfire!" Not "I think that's a guy," a real compliment, and I could swear he said it loud enough for me to hear, like he was actually hitting on me! I know it's probably all in my head, but I was radiant when I walked into FEDEX, where the woman behind the counter smiled at me and said, "So pretty!" I may get off cloud nine eventually, but it was one of those magic moments that make a nothing day worthwhile :)

I've made it with guys, and I like it a lot...but I'd never try to fool a straight guy into thinking that I'm a woman, that's an excellent way to get your ass kicked! My men have met me through dating websites where I always disclose what's under the clothes, and a surprising number of guys really dig that. I suppose it's a way for them to explore their curiosity without admitting to themselves that it's really a guy they're into....

Allie, you know I'm a wallflower without you to make things go, If you'd been there, they probably would have treated us to breakfast! The sun came out this afternoon and I thoroughly enjoyed the fashion magazine you left me out by the pool.
