How many CDs do you know?

There are a lot of CDs--we are not alone. But many of us are pretty isolated. How many CDs do you know face-to-face, who also know & recognize you as a CD?

A) none
B) strangers at Halloween parties, or similar rare events
C) one or more regulars at non-CD bars/restaurants/coffee shops
D) a friend who later turned out to share this interest
E) some, at CD-oriented socials; e.g., weekly or monthly "girls night out"
F) a community, like Tri-Ess or an LGBT activist center
G) other?

So far I had met 4 other cd's that are in my general area and at least a half dozen more that I had been friends with online. One I even knew who he was, just never met. Yes there are alot more of us out there than we realize.

Somewhere in the range of 70 or so. All E and F. I have met in person and actually had a conversation with face to face, while I was presenting as a woman.

Well, I like to think----everyone here. But in reality maybe 4 who are good friends I've actually met in person. I did meet many when I went to a local support group some years ago. I know of one in town but we've never connected. One close friend I spent a lot of time with went on to a full transition and we talk often. Nice to know I'm not the stranger on this planet!

E&F I'm very fortunate to have 30 or 40 gorgeous CD girlfriends. 10 to 15 of us get together every Friday night for Girls Night Out in Everett WA. I'm also a member of Emerald City in Seattle where I regularly hang out with another 15 to 20 ladies. Of these ladies, I'm really close to 7 of them.

I know 5 locally.... that I've met in person... ones a coworker.... ones lives in the smell township and our kids went to school together... one we've played dress up a few times and the others are around the Burgh....

there's is a loose knit support group here or use to be.... but I never felt I needed any support...

I have known varying amounts of CDers at various levels over the years. My ex-neighbour is a CDer and we used to go out in the company of CDers. I have been on a tranny weekend in Blackpool with my wife. There is a tranny club on Sheppey went there once but it spooked me out with beds for experimentation. I more want to have GG friends who just know me as Maria, as one of the girls. The CDers that I have been in the company of excluding my ex-neighbour all they can talk about is CDing. I just want to be in the company of ordinary women talking ordinary women conversations.

In New Zealand some 120. & in Austraila some 300, at three different venues of those i would have 5 as friends & have stayed with 4 , one reason i meet so many people is i do photographyso that allows me to meet so many people, this of cause as youll realise is face to face,

Indeed, how many do I know... Nobody openly that I know of, but I'm sure they would answer the same even though they know me. :), so it's hard to really know. Other than the forums here, I'm not openly aware of anyone.

I would love to met some people with similar interests but seems very hard over here, people seem to very private. I'm envious of all that have met many others!

None that I actually know of. However I work with about 150 other guys. My "best guess" is that perhaps 50 or more have "used" female items at least once if not multiple times. And according to some of the dinos that water here, that makes them CDs.

If I hadn't gotten on this forum, it may still be none. But it gets hard to count after a while taking in all ways of knowing people. Just knowing everyone here makes it impossible. But I probably know 40-50 locals face to face; another 20 locals on-line only; and have met upwards of 100-150 additional going to DLV.

I have personally met many cd's. In person and face to face. i guess the number would be about 70 that I've actually met and had a conversation with. But I have about 10 that I still talk to in emails and I do hope to one day meet them in person. For some reason, I really seem to connect with cd's now more than anyone else. And I look back now and of the great male friends I have gotten really close with through the years at work, maybe they were cd's too and I just didn't know it.
