Not what it seems.

Background - I have a boat and nobody but my wife knows about my dressing. Nobody.

I was talking to a couple about boating and the woman stated that when they anchor their boat overnight they are always afraid the anchor will slip while they are sleeping and the boat will drift out to sea or against the rocks. I looked on their boat and they have a GPS that I am familiar with so I showed them how to set it up so an alarm would sound if the anchor dragged.

So the wife (she's pretty much a loud mouth) said she was surprised that there wasn't an app for a smart phone to do the same thing. I told her there was and it was called "DragQueen" (an unfortunate name if there ever was one). https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dragqueen-anchor-alarm/id489294173?mt=8

OK, fast forward to the next day and I'm on my boat cleaning it and she walks down the dock behind my boat. She calls out to me "How are you doing, DragQueen?"

So now she is calling me "DragQueen". If she only knew.

Linda that is a good story, and I agree you should rename the boat the drag queen. It would be a great conversation starter for many....lol you might find there are a lot of us, that enjoy boats, are also dressers, except my wife and I seem to always end up nakkid on the boat... just so many senses are tweaked when on the water anchored in a cove somewhere and no one in sight...Jaylyn

Next time she calls you that tell her that you usually don't perform on the boat but for her you could make an exception!

Yes: I am a sail boat person myself. Nothing like listing to the watter clumping on the
hull as you skim the water. It also romantic as well.
Now If I could only do it dressed.

Following the water-babe theme,I like kayaking. Not a great opportunity to dress in anything much special but it is the most fun to be had ever whilst wearing rubber !

Well, I saw her again this weekend and there was no mention of the "Drag Queen " thing so I guess (hope) it's forgotten. She drinks a lot.

Linda that is a good story, and I agree you should rename the boat the drag queen.......

I once took my boat to another city and docked a few boats down from me was a speed boat with two blonde haired, taned and fit guys lounging on the bow. The name of the boat? "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" !
