It was lovely! They were most welcoming to me, and we had many great discussions on a wide range of topics. Some other comments from the whole evening:
To the lovely Vietnamese lady who gave me a manicure at Nails Pro, Murphy Canyon Road: Thanks for being so nice and doing a great job.
To the staff at Coco's, Friar's Road: Thank you for being so welcoming and taking care of everyone.
To the lovely lady who had just been to her daughter's wedding and chatted with me for 30 minutes as we had a cigarette outside my hotel: I thoroughly enjoyed your company. I'll be sure to check out the store where you got your outfit! If you knew, you never let on :-)
To the four lads who walked past as I sat on a bench outside the hotel: Did I hear rightly, one of you saying something about "MILF"?:o
