Bowling...

Just a funny story, I think anyway. I had just gotten done ordering some new shoes for Julie (3" Mary Janes), and went out bowling with a few guys (nobody knows about Julie...). Well, when the cashier asked what size I was, of course I asked for Julie's size. I'm sure she thought it was a little wierd that I told her I needed a different size, but I don't think anybody really noticed. A few close calls where anybody may have an idea about Julie could maybe have found out. But I think I'm clear.

That's a little like the story I told here of being fitted for a hernia truss and being asked what size jeans I wear. I was on the ball though and told him my men's size.

We tread on thin ice at times.

My trans gay community group has started bowling once a month and I asked for men's size shoes and used the men's washroom while dressed. Fortunately our group took over that end of the ally so no problems but I need to get more confidence, maybe wear a skirt, it might improve my bowling, I suck at 10 pin.

Oh no I hope that since I started dressing my bowling shoes still fit... My wife and I have been bowling in leagues for several years now and we love doing that together. WE have even made it to State representing our league. I am intrigued what it would be like bowling in dress...Rita may have a new league coming up nation wide the CD League... sign me up, as long as we are the only ones in the house.
