How about things that did get said? While standing in a crowded line at the super market.. The cashier, whom I'd only encountered maybe twice said.. You know.... You look much better without your glasses. To which I replied... You look much better without my glasses too.

I posted it here, but I was being fitted for a hernia truss and the guy asked me what size jeans I wear. I was wearing size 12 at the time but I managed to tell him I wear size 33 or 34.

My sister in law was visiting from out of state and my wife was showing her around the house. There's no door on the walk in closet and my sister in law saw the skirts and blouses on both sides of the closet. She asked (me) "So where are your clothes?" I managed to say "On the top rod and in the closet in the other room."

So far, my tongue hasn't slipped. So far.

Well I was in guy mode and we were all at my sister's house. We were just about to eat and the food was on the counter tops. My sister said, okay everybody dig in. I waited for the lady's to move to the food but they didn't. I was very hungry, and so hit the food first and right then I said "Lady's first" and started putting the food in my plate. Everyone laughed. I looked at my wife, and only she and I got it.
