I needed to run an errand at lunch so I stopped by Bloomingdales to pick up a refill of my favorite facial cleanser. The SA wanted to sign me up for their rewards program and asked for my ID. Unfortunately my ID looks quite different than I do, at least at that particular moment. :battingeyelashes: I'm always a sucker for coupons so I handed it to her.

She gets a funny look on her face, looks at me, then shows the ID to a floor manager behind the counter. Me thinks "here we go!" :sad:

They hand me back the ID and both say "we can't believe you are as old as your ID says." :o What can you say? Thanks!

I have waited for the Haff Papers, scenario on more than one occasion.
I was getting kicked out of bars because I was considered underage.
I was twenty six the last time that happened.
Dressed as a girl I was never challenged.

Thanks all! I guess I am a glass-half-empty gal so I tend to expect the negative and when it turns out to be positive I am pleasantly surprised. It actually works out that way most of the time so maybe I'll get used to it eventually!
