I'm in a slump. I've been putting makeup on for almost 50 years, but the past few weeks I can't get it just right...hip pads to low or to high...cleavage issues...hair doesn't hang quite right. Probably the worst of all...I've lost my femme walk (just watched a video of myself walking...Neanderthal in Heels). Well at least I have my health...I think. Thanks for reading

Diana, you need to throw away those new glasses and go back to those much clearer and forgiving old ones.

Orchid, nothing really. I know I'll snap out of it...a little shopping might be fun, but then again it always is.

Dear Diana, Maybe it's time for a change, new hair ,new shoes, new dress, any excuse to go shopping might just get you out of a slump. Hugs Jaymee

I agree with Jaymee. It ma be time to change. But don't be too hard on yourself. We are our own worst critic. I think you look great.

Everybody has guy in a dress days. I just hate it when I get home, and discover I've been having one all day!

Sometimes when we are a bit down we perceive ourselves differently and a bit negatively.
Give it time and you will be buzzing again girl. It happens to me too.

That is what rants are for. Now it's done, get right back out there and keep on keeping on.

For myself it's kinda like riding a bike Hon. I can be away from it for months or even years and when I dress it's like I never stopped.Kind of like a part of me. I think perhaps you are purposely slumping for some reason, we never forget my friend.:battingeyelashes::)

You are definitely being over critical.
You may be getting olderand the bumps are showing, but remember you have to adapt to a different you,
one that is older unfortunately.

Are you bored? Are you doing the same old thing just because? Maybe you should not do anything unless your heart is really in it. Nobody holding a (thing that shall not be mentioned) to you and forcing you to dress, right?

Might be general fatigue. If you don't feel good it permeates the rest of your life and even how you see yourself.
