A fantasy of mine.

Ever since I started dressing I have had this fantasy of getting my makeup done perfessionally along with my nails and such...you know the works and then getting dressed up in a beautiful wedding gown. I still would love to do that. I had the chance when I got married to my wife. She said she didn't mind if I used her dress, but I could see it in her eyes that that would be crossing the line and plus it was her dress from her big day so I passed on it. The dress seemed sacred to her so I just couldn't. If I ever find another gown though I believe I won't pass that one up. I was wondering if any of you have ever wanted to wear a wedding dress or if you have already? Or maybe I am just weird and it is only me.

I've never worn a wedding dress but I can certainly see the appeal of such beautiful gowns.
They seem to be a common theme among crossdressers, and there is certainly nothing "weird" about wearing one.
What a generous offer by your wife to let you borrow her dress.
If I was in your shoes (white stilletoes!) and the dress fitted me I would jump at the chance.
You're a lucky girl.

No, your not wierd!! I met a local girl online and found out she had a wedding dress and we are the same size. So I met her at her house and we dressed together. The wedding dress was heavenly! I glowed for days. A girl was it heavy. She got it at a resale shop fo very little money. I hear that the thrift shops also carry used wedding gowns. So find a friend or buy one but the felling is amazing!!!

I'm with you Dana, I love wearing an evening dress too. It gives the real girl feeling, especially getting noticed, its a buzz.
Having looked at other girls pictures has kindled a new desire; the wedding dress idea is a nice thought.

Yes I have worn a wedding dress. In fact i own 3 of them. When I find that perfect gg and she is cool with it I'd love to have a double bride ceremony!!

I have a wedding dress but I bought it from ebay the wrong size - size 8 when I should have gotten a 12. I can't fully zip it up but I can wear it partially. Can't lose enough weight to wear it as I'm already slim.

I own two wedding gowns and I had pics done professionally in one of them... the photographer was a GG who had no problem taking pics of a CDer in a wedding gown, and I had a makeover at a day spa from another understanding GG, so I arrived at the studio en femme and had a blast during my almost two-hour photo session!

No it's not weird---although My taste generally runs to black leather I also have a real thing for satin---I recently had a red satin victorian type gown made for Me--replete with a bustle and puffed sleeves---when I wear shoulder length black leather gloves, it reminds Me of the scene from Dr Zhivago when Lara slaps the cad who seduced then abandoned her. When I wear it I feel unbeleivedly turned on.:dom:
