Hi girls,

I know some of you are closeted and some of you have ventured out in broad daylight. In both situations, what do you like best of the crossdressing experience? For me, it is taking photographs and reliving the moment when viewing them in the future. After all, so much money and time have been spent to crossdress.

When I was travelling alone in the past I randomly asked strangers to help take photographs, and I cold-approached 10-20 people just to get 15-30 photographs in a day outing. And not all pics turned out good (e.g. weird pose, closed eyes, photobombed, etc). I will be lucky to have 3 reasonably nice pics. And such outing only takes place once a month or less.

Yesterday, I found a "photography buddy" and we had a great time.
I saw this Korean girl taking a pic of herself and I approached her offering help. She returned the favour, and we chatted for less than 1 min before forming a "pact". She was travelling alone in London and so was I. We decided to travel together and be a "photography buddy" for the day. We ended up with more than 200 pics 5 hours later! (She had more pics than me, but that's okay).

I returned home slightly drenched in cold rain, but totally happy with the day trip.

It sounds like you had a great time.

I take my own pictures and of course I get a lot of bad ones and I have to crop almost all of the ones I take because I have to use a relatively wide zoom setting to make sure all of me is in the photo. I don't get out much so most of my photos are of me around the house.

I do like to look at the old ones and remember the times when they were taken.

Hi Irene! Glad to hear you had such a great time out and about! I also take most of my own pictures using a camera, tripod and timer. That's how I got my avatar pic, lol...

I don't take pictures to re-live the past. I use them as a tool to improve for the next time I go out. The mirror is a liar, the camera never lies.

I'm fortunate to be able to get out and the pictures of my adventures and CD girlfriends are fun to look at down the road a ways. Another thing I've used is the video ability of the modern camera's to see just how I look walking and doing things dressed in various outfits. Got rid of all my tight, stretchy, mini skirts this way! May also have to get rid of a few tops that are a little too snug around my belly.

Wait 'till your a little older - can't get out - want to recall an event -- you'll want to remember the past, no matter how you looked.....so pictures are an excellent "tool" for short memories................................Debra

Irene,
It is good to have any sort of buddy when you go out.
Photography is a tool for me insomuch as I use it to improve my appearance and general look when out.
History shots play a part as well as I can see where I need to improve.
