swim suit or swim shorts?

hey ladies! what do you swim in? i wear a 2 piece to swim in. hubby wears a 1 piece or a 2 piece to swim in or the male shorts on base. but he love the fem suits to swim in

I prefer swim separates since I'm a 12 top and 8 bottom. I'm also a tall gal so 1-piece suits are hard to wear. I like a tankini top and bottom with attached swim skirt. The net effect is something like this:

I just ordered a two piece; Halter top and swim skirt. It has waist/tummy control. Hopefully it won't look too hideous.

I wear a tankini. Being a plus size gal it is the most flattering for me. The bottoms are either a swim skirt or a full brief bottom depending on where we are swimming and my mood that day.
I had a one piece, but being larger on top they never seem to fit properly so with the tankini being separates I can get the right sizes top and bottom.

Usually an one piece, or sometimes a two piece (briefs and sports bra style), from sportswear companies like adidas, arena, nike, speedo... 2 side-tie string triangle bikinis are waiting in the closet too!

I have a black 1-piece, a turquoise bikini and I just bought a gorgeous pink halter neck 1-piece online. Unfortunately it's a bit short for my body so it either sits too low on my chest or really cuts into my neck :(
