We're all living in some kind of fantasy world I think, I exclude the true transsexuals, who just want to be a woman, full stop. That's why I posted this here, in the cross-dresser forum. So, if you could choose just one image that would define your fantasy image of yourself as a woman what would it be? I'll start.

I think there is maybe an element of fantasy to it.
As I love getting glammed up (totally need to make myself a dress like this):

Patsy,

Brook Shields. Perceived as big for a female, but carries herself well. Capable of presenting as a stylish woman and quite pretty. Large and in charge when not all dolled up. Imagination is a wonderful thing and she would be the perception I carry.

I must go along with Melissa on this question. In my reality I'm a transgendered person, a mix of gender attributes, but I try to live as much of my life as possible as a woman. That woman, me, is a tall, mature, classy lady, aging gracefully.

Since this is a fantasy, I would be a 28 year old female with a hot body, 5'6" tall, large natural breasts, beautiful skin and long flowing hair. I would own my own company, be a millionaire, jet around the world, and own a mansion and a couple yachts. :heehee:

In reality, I'm a 70 year old man trying to look like a 70 year old woman who's trying to look like a 50 year old woman. ;)

Reality is a dissapointment sometimes!

I am all for Audrey Hepburn, but she is taken.....
Lady Suzy looks like a more realistic choice, but I think there is a copyright issue there.
So I will just fantasise and do what I always do.
The best that I can under the circumstances.

Very classy Suzy. Linda, that was hilarious. I can relate!

Okay, fantasy woman of all time! The following pics out to do the trick. Liz Taylor in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, 1959.

This would be me.
Art work by Steve Hanks. I loved his stuff before I knew about Bobbi, and now I find myself in the mindset of the painting.

I love your answer Kate Simmons. Thanks for all the contributions by the way. They all resonate with me in one way or another. For me the essence of being female is indefinable in words. It can, perhaps, be illustrated in an image.

This is not a fantasy as much as a picture that speaks to me. I have always felt apart from the group: "always on the outside looking in". When I saw this picture by Andrew Wyeth, I immediately identified with the girl, she is a polio victim and seeing her detachment from the home relates to me feeling as if I have no home (specifically in regard to gender). I get the sense that in her heart, she just wants to be like everyone else, but her handicap prevents her from having a normal life, much the same as my GD effects my life.

Not to hijack the thread, but I just looked up this artist. His work is wonderful! (And this print is affordable, too.) Thanks for posting this picture. I have so much artwork around, and not enough wall space, but I may have to buy one of his...

Fantasy image of myself as a woman? Just the image? ..... Mad Men character Betty Draper .... especially as she looks in this pic. Great body shape, gorgeous dress, love the pearls, love her hair, and the retro style of gloves, handbag and glasses is cool IMO.

My image would be of a professional woman who dresses in suits and very nice dresses, heels and underneath wears very sexy lingerie to be ready to please her man at any time he asks. This is how I like to dress now but the man part is not often enough

A 30 something Lauren Bacall or Sophia Loren. Very hot, old enough to know what it is, and young enough to do it!

I'm a 18 year old girl in my mind, so this is how I see my self.

Oh wow. So many fave images to choose from. I actually have a folder called "girly" where I collect such fantasy images. I suppose if I have to choose just one, it is this picture. Great image in my opinion, I just love it. I have a copy framed and on display in my girl room.

Hi,

I dont have a fantisy about being a woman because i am any way. what would be nice would be to know what i would have looked like had all my hormones & what nots got in line if i could have had a ...ill say ... feminine look, well maybe what my femaleness could have been, that at least would be nice,
