It's Time!

That is, time to put my bags in the car, drive 70 miles to Des Moines, and be enfemme all weekend! Hit a club or two tonight, after dinner. Shop all day Saturday, maybe a mani/pedi, perhaps a makeover. More clubbing Saturday night. It's been a madhouse since the 4th, and I need some quality girl time!

I'm home and have to go to work later. But that can't kill the "high" I'm on right now! Not drugs or alcohol, but the sheer thrill of being enfemme.I had a great time, met up with a few girls I've known for some time, met some new ones! Partied in an LGBT bar Friday night, and had several guys try to pick me up. It was a neat experience, but not my cup of tea. Went to a drag show last night with another girl and had a blast! I was amazed at the number of GG's there! Spent too much$$$ shopping, but what's a girl to do when loose in the city? SHOP!!!!

Lots of LGBT activity in Des Moines. The Garden changed hands, and seems to be going downhill rather quickly. Le Boi is a very young crowd. Blazing Saddles is still good, and no cover charge, Buddy's Corral is still very open and accepting. My kind of place.

Now, unfortunately, it's guy mode and off to the salt mines.

I meet up with Leah, Saturday evening, at Buddy's Corral. We had a great time including, going to the Imperial Court of Iowa Drag show at the Blazing Saddle. The East Village in Des Moines is a great place to be out and about.
