I didn't have any to post last time this subject came up.
But I was watching a wonderful thunder storm tonight so I figured a good time to do a short video using my female voice.
Tell me what I need to do all constructive criticism is welcomed

in all honesty...and not being able to see you, sounded totally femme to me :)

Sounds pretty good Tracii, one thing I noticed is that for shorter sentence or one of words your voice does have a little bit of a male tone that isn't there when you talk longer. Probably due to less air being moved through the vocal cords, or maybe my studio monitors have too much low end...

Not bad, Tracii! If I didn't know, I would have taken you as a female with a hoarser voice.

Yeah it drops sometimes and working on that thanks Candice.
Thanks Reine I haven't talked much today so maybe my voice isn't warmed up.
Back years ago I blew out my voice singing in a band so it can get rough sometimes.Maybe next time I'll have some hot tea or coffee before I do it.
Thanks all I appreciate the help.

Tracii,
Similar to me, I speak in a softer voice and expel less air when speaking femme.

Beverly I have been working on breathing more evenly and raising my voice at the same time. Thanks Beverley at least I'm not alone LOL.

is it true that eating chalk will make your voice sound much more feminine?

Femmy, but some times a hear maleness sneaking through.

I think you sound like a girl describing a thunderstorm, I would have never guessed you weren't a GG.

A little on the gravely sound, kinda like a June Carter voice. With some tea I imagine it being smoother.

Thanks everyone I will keep working at it I'm sure I can do better with more practice.

Sounds like you have the inflection going in the right direction. One thing that wasn't mentioned was speed. I've always agreed that slower speech will sound more femme and sexy.My biggest problem is getting it to come from the very top of my larynx .....I can only get to that middle range, then I start to thinking...How "uncomfortable" am I willing to go with this...lol

Hi Tracii, It sounds like a woman that has smoked for many years.

Hi Tracii,
Sounds like you've been practicing, a lot better than the last one (which was better than I can do). Very good IMHO, are you practicing for a weather persons position?

You sound a little better than me. I went out last night, and had to speak to a gas station lady cashier, and did not do so well. I am about to just go with a low whispery male voice. You did ok.

LOL. Awww you're voice sounds sooo cute. And you are as idiosyncratic as me, girl. I love storms too.

I love to walk out in the midst of it in a negligee or panties and top, tightly fit. Get drenched. Like a wet T-shirt contest. Looking skyward hands outstretched. Reach high with defiance. A human lightening rod I am. Breathing in pristine air. The feel of rain so clean so clear, washing over me. My body renewed and refreshed from toes to tits.

Each lightening flash and thunder clap echoes in my breast. Renders me orgasmic. Like last Saturday night in these parts. 'Twas magnificent.

I would never have suspected that I was hearing anything other than a natural woman.

I think you sound pretty good and like a woman....As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, storms are cool!

OK Tracii here lies the truth as I see it.

you sound like a female when you talk. smokers or singers have a trait that shows through, but regardless you nailed it.

Wow Traci, that voice is very convincing to me. If we didn't already know it was you, it would still be so convincing. Like if you were to call someone that does not know you and you asked for Bob and it was a wrong number, you would sound like a GG to me.
I wish I knew enough about computer stuff so that I could post my voice. I have bee na singer all of my life as well, I can sound exactly like John Denver or John Fogerty, then I can sing an Anne Murry song and sound like her as well. I guess my female voice would be like Anne Murry talking.

Very sexy voice. Always had a thing for GG's with deeper, throaty voices especially some of the Italian actresses of the past. However, do I detect a bit of country in the accent? Still, quite feminine and appealing to my ear.

I love electrical storms too. Have an outdoor pavilion where you can sit out of the rain but surrounded by all the sound and smells of the storm. Quite exhilarating, probably a bit dangerous but what isn't these days.

Hugs Traci

I am not a big talker so there are days that go by where I don't utter a word.Being single I guess that makes sense.
Not a huge smoker pretty much a social smoker type.
I'll keep working on it and see if I can improve.
I answered the phone in my girl voice once and it was an older brother calling so I said wait I'll go get him.

Lol, that must have been hilarious!!! I guess thats when caller ID is handy.
I was tempted to do that one or twice but always chicken out... and the fact that my voice is way too deep, anx I think I will sound waaay too artificial or falsetto. ...

Alright you already know you sound like a women that should give up cigarettes, but hey, I did say women right, that is the idea.
I know a lot of singers, used to use honey before going on, Wife's mother was a professional singer, and talked about it.
It might help, but I think your doing good at it.
