What coordinating outfits have you worn with your wife or S.O.? CD23 started this question and it got me to thinking:
I came across this article on the web and it deals with crossdresser and his ex girlfriend. After i read it it really piss me off and this is something any crossdresser, transwoman or woman should consider before getting into a relationship

what are your thoughts on this article
4. He probably did it too fast, and without warning or decorum. even couples (F/M) who agree ahead of time on matching outfits or looks are a bit odd- it's not something they do for long after the novelty of the first few times wears off. (this do not include coordinating, or when it is expected (team outfits)
This brings to mind a question:So... what coordinating outfits have you worn with your wife or S.O.?
We used to wear color matched shirts or t-shirts with jeans and tennies when we were dating and early in marriage. Now we more coordinate- make sure the looks are similar-ish (Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, etc.) when we are in M/F mode at dinner or a public event or outing.
Exercising- we still match shirt or top colors, but she wears tights when lifting or running. I wear shorts. Cycling- i have not gotten her to wearing nice stuff yet- we do not yet 'align'.
Curiously though- when we used to skate together we'd dress quite similar- our skates matched (i had the female version in my size, of course), so it was black tights or tank-unitards and near matching t-shirts, gloves, etc. We would semi-speed skate- bent low and using long strokes- we'd start by me matching her cadence, then i'd move up very close behind (i skated better without my arms than she did) and we'd be skating in tandem- overlapping strides, coordinating movement and intentions with the lightest touch on her hips or waist. <pix>
So there was a reason for it, shallow as it might be. She liked that her friends would tell her we looked good/cool together.
But back on topic: we agreed on the outfits beforehand. Simply put:
It is not a good idea to spring a big CD/TG surprise on your SO or other acquaintance without some serious talk first.
