First time out of the house, about a month ago, fiance and I went to 7-11. Of course I waited in the car.

So tonight we get hungry and decide to go through a drive-thru. I'm in the passenger seat. The cashier was so overwhelmed just from doing her job that she didn't even notice me. I even said "thanks" in a manlier than normal voice as we drove off, just for laughs.

On the way in, we had noticed a little bar/casino that we have never been to. I jokingly said we should go in there. Fiance was all over that and I had to chicken out.

So on the way out of the parking lot, I had to show her that I had at least a little bit of courage. I told her to stop the car, I got out and sashayed about 50 feet to a garbage can (threw away a tissue that was on the floorboard) and sashayed all the way back, in view of the whole world! There were some people sitting in a car not too far from the trash can.

I know I'm way behind most of you here but we had a great time, jammed to the stereo and high fived each other all the way home.

Sounds like you had an awesome night! You're very lucky to have a fiancée that accepts and encourages you, too.

Sounds like a good time,
One step at a time, as long as you have fun.

Every step you take is progress. Next time, you'll probably make it into the casino.

Great fun for both of you and I'm sure it was a rush, too! I'm sure you'll be plotting your next sashay adventure soon

Madeline,
A few more baby steps like that and you will graduate. :)

Good for you Madeline. Its great that you have the support of your fiance also. Now turn those baby steps into a jog and the next thing you know you will be running wild. Hope you have a few more nice outings.

You gotta do what fits your comfort level! What's really important is that the two of you enjoyed it together. :)

The quote below sums up everything perfectly. Well done!
