If you could have an en femme car to drive while dressed, what would it be? Mine may be this cute little critter I stumbled across on line.

Ferrari California or a Mercedes SL class. Both have a femme vibe. and those soft leather seats on stockinged legs would be out of this world amazing.

A 70 hemi cuda. I had a red one with a black vinyl top back in the day.
I would deff dress en femme and drive around all the cruising spots.I could care less about all the on board gadgets and fancy do dads on some cars, give me a 4 speed and a 426 street hemi any day.

Something that doesn`t burn much fuel and doesn`t spend more time than average in the shop. Unfortunately, the New Beetle doesn`t make the grade on both counts as it is available in Canada (no diesel and worse than average frequency of repair stats). I prefer a Golf or Jetta with the diesel engine and fully manual gearbox.

I used to have a 69 Roadrunner that I put a 440 down into. Pass everything on the road but a gas station.

I drive a 1995 Eagle Talon AWD - I've driven it both en femme and in drag - it's a lot of fun with sticky tires, so I can't imagine owning another car at this point. I'm waiting for the next big environmental push in vehicles - would like a Tesla but don't have the income to support it...

Prius, 4 wheel disc brakes, and it'll do a 100 mph, and still get nearly 50 mpg! Plenty of room for girlfriends and nobody has to do awkward gyrations to get in or out. Pretty hard to beat that.

The first one, the pink/fuscia VW convertible. But I must say that I would absolutely hate driving around en femme in a convertible. Hair blowing all over the place, wind ripping off eyelashes, sun melting makeup, road dirt, etc. But I like the idea of a girly car.

Well if I had to pick a so called "girly car" (gyod that sounds dumb) but it would be a Dodge la femme.
I am a modern woman of 1955. I know this year is about over, I hope they have a 56 model coming out soon.

My other "girly car" is not a car but this el camino. I know it is not a car but sex on wheels. Note to mods - If this photo is too sexy, delete it of course but please do not put me on a suspension.

I've never found the idea of a pink car even remotely appealing, but diversity is a wonderful thing! I love having all kinds of cars on the road to look at, being driven by all kinds of people. Our garage already has our two dream cars in it. A burgundy convertible for when we're feeling playful and want to commune with nature's curvier aspects, and a sparkling white electric sedan for daily driving where we can show up in style and still take care of the planet.

... and I have never once had someone outside of a CD forum context tell me either one is insufficiently feminine!

DING DING DING!!! Jana, that is the exact car that came to my mind when I read this post. Very girly car in my opinion! The Mopars and mustangs are bada$$, sure, but as fem cars??? Not so much. I've thought about this topic before- I always wanted to rent a Cabriole in white or baby blue, put on a sundress and sunglasses and just go riding.

I was all ready to post a picture of a Cabriolet in this thread but decided to make sure no one else had beat me to it- I'm glad I looked first! Great minds think alike... great choice!

Did some research a while ago and found out that this dream car of mine (if it was a "100 point" car) would be worth about $1,000,000 today. They only made 13 convertibles that year with the Hemi and shaker hood and only about 6 are left. One was actually junked and crushed ... a moment of silence please in respect.

I am surprise to see so many Convertibles. Wigs and convertibles can be a bad combination :).

Which is why I chose a coupe! Hair streaming in the breeze is sexy until it gets into your eyes and develops terminal tangles. GGs usually restrain their hair in a 'vert!

Kimberly Kael
08-09-2013, 11:29 PM
Tangles are part of the bargain, and the wind-swept look is forgivable in California. Not wearing a wig helps but I still keep a hair tie around the gearshift of our convertible in case the mood strikes me. She's a few model years newer, but the same lovely color as the one pictured here: Carmona Red. That's why we named her Carmen.

I still think my(oops, I mean Suzy's) Yugo is better than any of the cars pictured. It has a wonderful security system. I leave the keys in it and the windows rolled down and it's always there when I return. My insurance on it is super low @ 99 cents per year. Now, that is economics at work people.:heehee:

Sorry, Cheryl, but I just can't get behind a Chrysler product of any kind. Even the Wyllys Jeep technology was improved by Toyota, while Chrysler kept it roughly the same even to right now. A company that just makes new bodies but never anything new.... Even the Charger is kind of a let down. It looks really good as a cop car, and it looks really good in general, but I think my puny Ford Taurus (a '96 at that) will outlast the Chargers. For that matter, the most popular Chrysler product ever made was built by Mitsubishi (hint: it's a minivan).

This is my car:

http://static.cargurus.com/images/site/2009/10/13/19/13/1979_toyota_supra-pic-2698436907448674211.jpeg

I owned one once. We named it Frankenstein because of all the non-performance mods I made to it (by non-performance, I mean I kept it on the road, but didn't make it any faster).
