If I had just one wish what would it be?

I think, to some varying degree great or small, we here in this forum are all transgender, and I would like to go on record (for the forum divas' sake) by saying that.

There really is nothing wrong with that.
At some point we have to deal with the skin and bones of our bodies, and our minds, and how we exist amongst out employers, our friends, and our loved ones. At some point we must make adjustments in our lives.

Me, I'm just a boring middle class dude that prefers to dress female, and I'm happy with that.

I also have many friends who transitioned from male to female (did hormones, surgeries, legal name changes, this /that), and I am sort of similar, but not quite. I am just simply .....me.

I would wish that the whole world would accept us for who we are and not to discriminate, judge, or even comment negatively. And if there was a little bit of the wish left over to spare, it would go towards making me more fem. Smaller feet, little shorter, full head of hair, .........

My wish would be that someone would invent a pill that would turn me into a Woman overnight. So I'd take the pill before bed and wake up female the next morning, with proportionate assets and luxuriant long hair. The pill would wear off after 24 hours so I'd wake up male again the next morning, farting and belching with stubble and balding pate again. If you wanted to stay female for longer just take another pill before bed and, hey why not make a month out of it! If everyone could experience not just what it's like to be a Woman but experience actually being a woman I think we'd all get along a hell of a lot better.

Obviously that's a fantasy wish. So my more sensible wish is for widespread social acceptance of Transgendered people of all kinds. Then I wouldn't have to worry about loosing my job if people find out what I do in the closet.

NathalieX66 you know what I think? all the girls on here including myself our souls are female and we did something wrong n the past life, so in this life we were born as a boy for punishment I guess and we are finding are way back as we get older to who we really are inside,does this make sense?

I agree fully with the basic premise of this.

Do not get me wrong i enjoy nothing more than getting all dolled up and letting the woman in me loose, but it did bring years and years of misery trying to suppress it.

I am happy with where i am now, but life would have been a whole lot easier if i was just one of the guys completely

I wish i could have a do-over and get to relive life as a GG. I dont want to have to go through a long drawn out process of becoming one. Besides, technology has come far enough to mske us look like a GG but at the end of the day, were not. We dont have fem cycles, we dont produce milk, we cant bear children, etc. I wish i had that chance. I know all the GGs are probably going to be like....wth! you can have it! But legitimately, that would be my wish. To be a full on GG from birth. Nothing else can compensate for that desire. Not dressing, not hrt, nothing. I guess ill have to wait and see at the end of my days if reincarnation is real. Its too bad it doesnt fit in with my faith :( One can hope i guess.

about 15 years ago I was on a flight from Hawaii to Vancouver and there was an awesome mid 20ish blond girl. Dressed to the nines, way cool. I wished then and I still wish now to be her for a weekend,...just to know what it is really like! Obviously I would want the option to stay. :D

To all the people posting they would love to live life as a woman, just look around you. How many GG's are actually wearing what you want to wear. When I look around I see women wearing trousers, flat shoes and t shirts.
Everything is different in the fantasy world . I live in the real world where women (my SO for instance) are happy to wear jeans, trousers, t shirts etc and if the are required to wear nice clothes for work then as soon as they get home its a quick change back to track pants or lounge suit. If it was as much fun for GGs to wear nice clothges then why dont they wear them at every opportunity?.Just check out your local shopping centre on a saturday.
OK thats the clothes, now what about the monthly blues that they have to endure. Then theres the fact they get paid less for doing the same work. Its dangerous for a lady to be out on her own. Cant sit in a bar without being pestered.
Everything looks rosy through rose tinted glasses, but in real life you have to take the glasses off.
So if you happy to have all the down sides and wish to join the real world then good luck in your wish.
I wished for a PRS and a Les Paul guitar when I was younger. I have both now and they stay in their case and nbever get used.
What im trying to say is wishes arent all they are cracked up to be because life gets in the way.
I would love to be a women for a day just to see but not for good. I have too much respect for women to think I could live in their world....Ellie

I guess one's answer depends on quite a number of variables. I haven't thought about this one for quite some time. It really got me thinking.

If I had only one wish it would be to spend all time and eternity with those who I love both currently living and those who have passed away.

If it was only one wish regarding my time here on earth it would be that my wife and I happily live to old age together, and are successful enough along he way to be comfortable in retirement and have some travel money.

If it was one wish regarding a personal relationship I value, I would wish that my sister and I could communicate more easily.

If it were a wish related to my CD'ing I am not sure which of the following I would choose.

1. My wife's acceptance

2. My self acceptance

3. Wishing CD'ing away

4. Having a real friend that understands or is accepting (The only person I have ever told is my wife)

I feel all four would make things easier, and some times any of them would suffice. I am working on #2 but not all the way there yet.
