going out

If I were driving thru Indiana or Ohio on Monday, where would be a good place to be comfortable going out? True this is a big area, but one has a choice or routes. Keep in mind that I am completely heterosexual and am only looking for a comfortable place to enjoy myself.

I would survey the places that you stop at if you are going dressed and can pass there is usually no problem at road houses or even shopping for snacks in cities.
I do it regularly, I do not know Indiana or Ohio, try Google for places to go.

What do you mean by "going out"? Getting out of the car (or motel) and walking around or going out to bars or clubs?

If you just want to walk around, I suggest the downtown of any large city. You'll blend in and people are too busy to bother with you.

If you're looking for bars and such, I can't really be of much help. If you are comfortable in gay bars, use the Internet to search along your route.

I agree with Linda! Going out to LGBT clubs and bars is truly fun, but if you just want to go out in public fully dressed, choose a populus part of town where there are lots of people. Dress appropriately, no super short mini skirts, walk, talk and act like a woman and you blend right in. I do it all the time. I have found busy downtown business areas and busy shopping malls an excellent place to go "outing"
