Out of 60 people who actually answered, and I apologise for phrasing the question so poorly, there were:
1) 48
2) 9
3) 3
100/60*48 = 80% are hetero, 15% are bi and 5% gay.
This was just a bit of fun and no relevance should or can be drawn from the results.
Thanks to all who participated.....Ellie

And what would be your "best guess" as to the "reliability" of those who submitted hetero as their response? Not that it matters any but those numbers do NOT jibe well with the responses that ALWAYS show up to the effect of "I'm only attracted to men when I am en femme".
Polls/surveys can never be reliable [especially at a site such as this] unless one's response is NOT attached to their name.

lol, wild, it's pretty well established in literature, such as it is, that the vast majority of CD's are heterosexual, and self-identify as males. :)
I think the responses totally jibe with the responses to those threads, especially if you factor in the fantasy factor in the "I'm only attracted to men when I'm en femme" threads. (This is quite high, I think on those topics.)

Now you can start another poll about who will win on Sept Seventh.
(That refers to political elections in Australia.)
It has been covered quite well on US networks and night talk shows.
I will be skiing in Thredbo and I don't care.
You needed a fourth category....
Undecided. :)

Of course this is just for fun. Creating a reliable poll/survey is a complex process, and nobody would go to all that trouble unless they were writing a research paper. Interesting results though.

Very surprising that a skewered sampling could be so close to the best information available. IF it were a poll there would be a polling error offered of say, 3-5%; but in this case --- considering the problems with not only the sample group used but also how the questions were asked --- to use a 10 to 14% error factor range might work. So muliply those numbers to your findings up or down and you would still be in the ballpark --- and it was amusing too.
