So i was browsing through all the pictures in the thread of boy mode vs girl mode and i noticed something interesting.
I noticed that the majority of those who posted pics smile very differently when en femme than when in drab. Because of the way your smile changes, it actually makes you all look more feminine! I wonder what you all would look like en drab smiling like you do while dressed? I just thought it was interesting how your physical expressions actually change depending on your persona.

Oh and for the record, you all look so much happier (almost glowing) when smiling like that. You all look wonderful!

Eve - I agree. Everyone does look happier dressed in "girl mode".

That's because we are happy when being ourselves. .. you would never get me smiling like that en drab, coz I'm never that happy en drab, lol

I often wonder if people really try a proper smile when in male mode.

That's because men are grimly determined, whereas women are pleasingly perky. Works for me Hon. ;):battingeyelashes::)

One of the things I have to seriously work on is smiling when I'm dressed. As a male, I get that serious, stern look. Even knowing this, I often forget to smile in self timer photos because I'm thinking about taking the photo.

I noticed I do smile more when en femme. Interesting observation.

I smile way more than any of my guy friends..... and smiling has become independent of the clothes I wear...

They're called S eating grins, I believe. And, why wouldn't we be wearing one?

Take a look at makeup or skin-care commercials. Proavtive, for example. Models are not smiling in "before" pictures (how can I smile with these pimples?) and always smiling in the "after" pictures (I'm so happy now). And that's on top of better lighting, makeup, etc. in the "after" pictures. They know they're not producing "apples to apples" comparisons, but it works.

Perhaps the smile is simply part and parcel of the transformation. I get comments and compliments on my smile regardless of mode of dress, but without a doubt more so when I am Regina.
